What are Runes?

Runestones are an ancient Proto-Germanic tradition dating back to the 1st century AD. They consist of a 24-letter runic alphabet, usually made of wood or stone, and used as a method of writing, fortune-telling, and imprinting.

Today, runes are used to connect with the higher self, provide inner guidance, and utilize intuition as a way to predict the future and offer advice (similar to tarot cards).

Inspiration

In the story of Snow White, there is an omniscient mirror. Within it dwells its slave, an imprisoned spirit who always speaks the truth.  In front of the magic mirror, there are no secrets.

When the mysterious magic mirror reflects the powerful runes, it is a joint of power. The magic mirror tells the truth, the runes guide the direction, and the combination of the power of the two magics makes the divination extremely accurate.

A closer look

Each rune looks like an oval-shaped magic mirror. The frame is embossed with thorny branches of roses, and the magic symbol is shrouded in it. The background of the center is a rose bush that reflects different colors under the lights.

The rune is made of zinc alloy, and the metallic feeling is better from its back. Like the legendary magic mirror, the back is engraved with classic rose totems, just like what we saw in an ancient castle.

Lucky charms

The runic alphabet traditionally holds 24 letters, and each symbol has a specific meaning. The earliest runic inscriptions found on artifacts give the name of either the craftsman or the proprietor. Due to this, it is possible that the early runes were not used so much as a simple writing system but rather as magical signs to be used for charms.
