The pens are made of the wood which using the stabilization process. The technique is injecting the wood with resin and color paste to create a stable, hardened wood blank that is safe to turn.  The resin displaces air pockets throughout the grain structure, creating a dense blank that is nearly impervious to moisture changes and do not deform or crack or fade with time.
