Design

The Forbidden City is the largest and most complete group of ancient architectural structures in China. Our Crown Minimal Fountain Pen is inspired by the classic design of the top part of the architecture of the Forbidden City. Our ingnuinely-designed pen end is not only just a palace but also a crown， to satisfy our nostalgic feelings.

"Let the cultural relics in royal collections, the heritage displays on the ground, and the writings in the ancient books all come to life", to make history and tradition more vigorous, and to bring ancient architectural culture to everyone's desk.

Materials

Stabilized Mahogany

We name it the Rainbow Wood. Generally, the surface of the wood is painted by color spraying, while the rainbow wood is immersed in a natural dye under high temperature and pressure for a long time, and is colored both inside and outside. Only the hundred-year-old tree nodules are selected as basic wood, which has a natural and beautiful texture, with an unevenly distributed pattern, so that the immersed wood not only maintains a pleasant-looking texture but also has contrast in the shades of color depth.

Ebony

Ebony is a dense black hardwood, smooth and full of luster. It is finely textured and has a mirror finish when polished, making it valuable as an ornamental wood.

The pen end is made of brass, vintage and gorgeous, which also gives the pen more weight to enhance the grip feeling. The pen cap can be easily put on the pen end, so you don't have to worry about losing it. Specially inlaid with copper anti-rolling nail, it is also a decoration other than the function.

Nibs & Refills

The soul of a fountain pen lies in the choice of the nib, so we chose a long-established German brand (SCHMIDT) to complete this most important part. F nib, 0.5mm, with appropriate stroke width and flowing writing

The gift box comes with our delicate ink pouch, which contains 6 German standard Schneider ink sacs. Dye-type ink has the advantages of bright colors, good transparency, and anti-clogging after long-term use.

Packeging

We use renewable high-grade cardboard as the material for the gift box. This cardboard is hard and flat, has good uniformity, is not easy to deform in any climate, and can maintain flatness. The pattern on the gift box adopts the traditional Chinese auspicious cloud design, which implies goodness and wishes the recipients lucky and happy.
